Garbage Information
Bulky Waste collection is as follows:
Bulky Waste/White Goods: Pickups are twice a month. The Parish has been broken down into two zones, Eastern and Western Zone.
Western Zone will consist of Lettsworth, Innis, Batchelor, Morganza, Fordoche, Livonia, Lottie, Blanks, and Maringouin. This zone will be picked up on the first full and third weeks of the month.
*Please have bulky waste out curbside by Sunday at 9 p.m. of that week.
Eastern Zone will consist of Labarre, Waterloo, Lakeland, Glynn, Ventress, Jarreau, Torbert, Oscar, Rougon and unincorporated New Roads. This zone will be picked up on the second and fourth weeks of the month. *Please have bulky waste out curbside by Sunday at 9 p.m. of that week
The contractor does not pick up the following items: tires, debris under low-hanging electrical lines, contractor debris, and business debris. To submit a garbage question online, please use the form below.
Residential garbage collection is with Pelican Waste. Concerns regarding pick-up and/or requests for cans should be directed to Pelican Waste at (225) 263-8260.

Hours: Mon-Thur 7am-5pm
Fee: $5.00
** No hazardous material will be accepted.
